Today in class we joined the online global teaching community website, Classroom 2.0. This is a great resource where teachers post about their own personal experiences and other teachers can go on and read what they write, and maybe take some ideas away from that. There is a whole section pertaining to music education that I have started to look for. Joining this website applies to the following ISTE standard:
5. Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership
Teachers continuously improve their professional practice, model lifelong learning, and exhibit leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and demonstrating the effective use of digital tools and resources.
with the following benchmark:
a. participate in local and global learning communities to explore creative applications of technology to improve student learning.
This is a great resource for teachers that they can use both locally and globally to communicate with all teachers and gain a great wealth of information that they may not get just from their own experiences or having conversations with local teachers.

I really like the way you are structuring your reflections! They have flow and make clear connections between the activity and standards! In other words, you are a GOOD writer! Is it O.K. if I use your example for some other students who are struggling?
